The Ameya Classic Cricket Club has a cricket ground that has not only seen cricketing history happen, but is the pivot for professional cricketing action amongst the youngsters in Virar-Vasai & suburban Mumbai. The ground provides for 14,000 sq. Meters of cricket playing area. The Club’s playground is very popular and is a regular venue for more senior level tournaments. The ground also has a provision for walking, jogging and recreation activities for our members during morning and evening hours.
The Cricket Club is a greatly admired cricketing institution with its own Cricket Academy for the under-14 and under-17 age groups. To encourage talent from the local area, round the year cricket coaching camps (October to March) and summer cricket coaching camps (April-May) are organized for different age group between 7 and 20 years.
Members’ children as well as other children can participate in these camps. The children can choose between the morning and evening batch. Participants in these camps get an exposure of the match environment and are able to analyse their strength, stamina and weaknesses. These camps also help the coaches spot talented players and give them an opportunity to represent the Club in junior level tournaments.
